About the Role
Zoom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in PHP and React to join the Workvivo product team. This role involves designing and developing responsive, scalable, and secure user interfaces and backend services for the Workvivo platform, utilizing technologies such as React, React Native, and Laravel, all hosted on AWS.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interface features and backend services using React, React Native, and Laravel.
- Architect and implement efficient, modular, and reusable front-end and back-end systems.
- Identify, implement, and manage code libraries to minimize repetitive code and improve application design.
- Support and modify real-time feeds and APIs to ensure timely data rendering.
- Use code optimization techniques to enhance software robustness and performance.
- Participate actively in design discussions, code reviews, and code analysis.
- Advocate for best practices and standards in software development.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of professional full stack software development experience.
- Expert knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, unit testing, design patterns, and web application design principles.
- Experience with hosted web applications/SaaS.
- Proficient understanding of versioning tools.
