Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in APIs at Adecco, you will be at the forefront of building and delivering innovative software solutions. This role involves designing and architecting robust applications, ensuring they align with the latest industry standards and best practices. You will work closely with an Architect, Product Owner, and Developers to oversee entire features from concept to deployment in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Vue.js.
- Build and maintain scalable and efficient APIs, preferably using Node.js and NestJS.
- Ensure the integrity and security of applications through effective database management and client-server interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to innovate and implement new features.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and advocate for best practices in software development.
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Vue.js.
- Over 4 years of experience in designing and building large-scale applications.
- Strong experience in REST API development and client-server architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud environments, and operational resiliency strategies.
- Knowledge of various relational and non-relational database technologies.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and a strong understanding of software development methodologies.
