Squarespace's Help Experience team is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dublin. This role involves working closely with Staff Engineers, Data Analysts, and the Customer Operations department to tackle complex technical challenges using Squarespace's expanding Cloud-native footprint and cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI.

About the Role

The Help Experience team is dedicated to empowering our customers' business growth through an integrated support platform. This platform combines personalized self-help guidance with one-on-one support, providing essential tools and assistance to ensure customer success while enhancing operational efficiency. Our chatbot processes millions of messages daily, and our help center is visited by a million visitors each day.

As a Full Stack Engineer on the Help Experience team, you will collaborate with Product and Design teams to build new applications, enhance existing applications, and maintain the health of our diverse tech stack. You will work on projects that support our Customer Operations advisors and contribute to the team's technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve customer-facing support products and services end-to-end.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product owners to create a user-focused experience.
• Practice disciplined software engineering, including automated testing, code reviews, and writing clean, readable code.
• Keep our product updated with the latest technologies.

Who We're Looking For

• 3 to 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of experience programming with JavaScript (React is used).
• Proficiency in backend object-oriented programming, primarily using Python and some Java.
• Solid understanding of building reliable, usable, and performant full stack applications.
• Experience with various datastores such as Postgres, Mongo, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of best practices across the software lifecycle, from development to deployment and testing.
• Interest in collaboration through code reviews and technical discussions.
