The Role
As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will have significant autonomy and scope to influence various product areas such as the provider portal, marketplace, client experience, and infrastructure. You will work full-stack, utilizing technologies like Flask/Python on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend, with infrastructure management on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Develop and scale complex systems and make critical engineering decisions.
- Lead projects such as creating a robust cost estimation and eligibility checking platform, optimizing a world-class note-taking experience for providers, and enhancing search ranking and performance at scale.
- Mentor junior engineers and set best practices for the engineering team.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to build user-centric solutions.
Who You Are
- You have over 6 years of engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling systems.
- You possess an entrepreneurial spirit, ideally with experience in startups or personal projects.
- You are a product thinker who is deeply involved in both engineering and product design decisions.
- Leadership qualities are evident in your ability to mentor others and drive team success.
