Job Overview
Join the Microsoft Teams Calling and Meetings team as a Senior Software Engineer in Prague, Czechia. Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to enhance Teams Meeting Join Experiences.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team and partner teams for end-to-end architecture and API design.
- Implement features for Teams web and desktop clients.
- Monitor product and feature quality and reliability.
- Provide live site support.
- Mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or equivalent experience in C++, Rust, C#, Java.
- Experience with commercial product development.
- Focus on user experience and reliability.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and drive problems to efficient resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with React, GraphQL, Vue/Solid JS, or similar libraries.
- Experience with back-end development using strongly-typed languages/stacks such as .NET, C++, Rust, etc.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to handle uncertainty and unknown areas, fast learning and development skills.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, including refactoring to optimize functional aspects and maintenance costs.
