Capabuild is on the lookout for a talented Senior Software Engineer specializing in React Native to join our growing team. We have recently secured our seed funding and are expanding our engineering department to enhance our modern workflow software tailored for disaster and emergency services contractors. Our mission is to streamline operations for companies that restore properties after disasters, allowing them to focus more on their clients and less on administrative tasks.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our mobile applications using React Native. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features that improve the user experience and functionality of our software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Implement new features and optimize existing ones to improve performance and user experience.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience with React Native and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-based application development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Core Java and .NET Framework.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design patterns.
- Familiarity with CSS and front-end development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction or restoration industry is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
