Join Traba as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
Traba is on a mission to revolutionize the staffing industry by connecting light industrial businesses with reliable talent. We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial full-stack engineer to join our founding team. You will help build our core suite of products, including the React Native worker mobile app, the React/Node.js business web app, and a React/Node.js tools platform for our operations team.
About the Role
As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will:
- Write and review high-quality, performant code for our React Native mobile app, React/Typescript web apps, and Node.js/PostgreSQL APIs.
- Architect and document our tech platform and advise on key product and infrastructure decisions.
- Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect, eye-pleasing UIs.
- Implement our CI/CD workflows using Docker and Github Actions.
- Add analytics and monitoring to help understand our user experience and application health.
- Contribute in various ways to a scrappy founding team building the future of flexible light industrial staffing.
About You
- You are a voracious learner who loves diving into new areas and exploring new languages, frameworks, and technologies.
- You value clear communication and recognize the importance of documented planning and transparent, frequent feedback.
- You sweat the small stuff and have strong opinions on design patterns, IDEs, and coding standards.
- You have experience with or a desire to learn React Native and have the front-end chops to build beautiful, performant apps.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Typescript, JavaScript, React Native, React, Node.js, and/or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience working in an early-stage engineering team, dealing with ambiguity, and being a self-starter.
