Job Overview
Invitation Homes is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Financial Systems team. This role is pivotal in implementing and expanding our product offerings on the Yardi platform, enhancing the experience for our residents and internal teams such as Accounting, Operations, and Leasing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Deploy Solutions: Create custom SQL solutions and reports on the Yardi platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Platform Management: Perform administrative tasks to manage and maintain out-of-the-box solutions on the Yardi platform.
- Application Development: Assist and guide application development using Yardi SOAP APIs.
- Software Development: Lead the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and applications.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve defects using engineering tools and techniques such as debuggers and logic analyzers.
- Best Practices: Promote and advocate best practices, design standards, and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve objectives, participate in Agile/Scrum activities, and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least six years of software development experience on the Yardi platform, with three years as a Senior/Lead Engineer preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Yardi property management software, SQL Server, and API development. Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and Agile practices is essential.
- Communication: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: €98,640 - €170,976 annually.
