About the Role
Join Lattice as a Senior Software Engineer on our Platform team, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the systems that power our HRIS and Talent suite. Our Platform team collaborates closely with product engineers to deliver a cohesive product experience, focusing on enhancing security and reliability to become a system of record.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and Own Products: Work with other engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack, including React, Relay Modern, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product teams to understand and solve overarching pain points.
- Project Implementation: Drive the implementation of complex projects, including those requiring cross-functional collaboration with product managers and designers.
- Mentorship: Provide substantial mentorship to less experienced colleagues, helping to refine their technical craft and expand their knowledge.
- Engineering Practices: Contribute to our engineering practices by identifying and evangelizing improvements to enhance team output.
What You Bring
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in Node or React, and a strong understanding of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Problem Solving: Ability to efficiently model data and write performant queries, and a knack for debugging software defects.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain your thought process and work well with designers and product managers.
- Leadership: Experience in planning and executing development roadmaps for software projects.

Salary
The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $135,500 - $199,500, with eligibility for incentive stock options.
