As a Senior Staff Software Engineer in our Credit Risk department, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and building a resilient credit risk service that unlocks credit opportunities for SMBs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable SaaS applications in Elixir and Java.
- Enhance our platform to unlock credit for our customers, critical to the livelihood of SMBs.
- Mentor and guide other engineers in best practices and advanced technical concepts.
- Collaborate across teams to drive product and design interoperation.
- Implement and maintain large-scale, high-volume, high-availability systems.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Integrate machine learning models and design data pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 12 years of experience in software engineering.
- Expertise in Elixir, Java, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Experience with event sourcing, Kafka, and Flink.
- Proficiency in GraphQL and performance tuning.
