About the Role

In this strategic role, you will support our core product platform with a focus on partnering with Sales for new revenue opportunities. You will have the opportunity to own an end-to-end predictive human-in-the-loop solution directly used by Sales and Revenue teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Models: Create predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to solve complex business problems and extract actionable insights.
• Analyze Transaction Activity: Assess patterns and trends for card declines and correlate with other customer outcomes.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate data science solutions into the product roadmap and enhance customer experiences.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in data science and machine learning, applying them to improve existing processes and methodologies.
• Mentor and Guide: Join an established senior team and provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Contribute to Data Stack: Enrich our evolving data stack by contributing to data features/models via dbt or other means.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and programming languages such as Python or R in a cloud-based environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data science role, with a track record of delivering high-impact projects into production.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and partnering with other departments to drive business outcomes.
