Role Overview

As a Staff Software Engineer focusing on back-end integrations, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining integrations with our clients. These integrations allow users to continue using their existing systems while benefiting from our spend and expense management tools. Whether through APIs or bank-level integrations, our goal is to provide avenues for our product to reach users where they are in their business journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of our solutions.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for code collaboration and management.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure the reliability and scalability of backend systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI.
• Work with advanced technologies such as Kubernetes, Serverless Architectures, and AI/ML frameworks.
• Design and implement microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Solve complex problems in large-scale distributed systems, focusing on performance optimization and high-availability systems.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering with a Bachelor’s degree; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented language, preferably Java or Elixir.
• Experience in designing and developing APIs at scale.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization technologies.
