Software Front End Engineer with Angular Experience

Job Overview

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a talented Software Front End Engineer to join our dynamic team in Orlando, Florida. This role involves designing and developing the front-end user interface using Angular 16, adhering to industry best practices for both web and mobile platforms. You will also assist in evaluating and consulting on the acquisition of new software and application services that align with our business needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and develop innovative products and services.
• Conceptualize professional, attractive user interface designs for web applications using design tools such as Figma.
• Use software engineering best practices to code responsive front-end user interfaces in Angular to meet defined application requirements.
• Meet project deadlines as indicated in project plans and assigned tasks.
• Implement new features on existing products, fix bugs, and improve performance.
• Commit code with detailed notes using source control mechanisms.
• Design unique icons to represent web applications.
• Perform other duties as required.

Other Duties

• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.
• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and overall computer navigational skills.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

• Communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
• Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for the benefit of third parties.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (Angular, React, Vue).
• Technical Skills: Experienced in UI/UX design for attractive, intuitive displays (Figma, Adobe XD). Thorough understanding of both client and web application architectures.
• Preferred Experience: TypeScript – Angular framework, Python – Django framework, Docker, Git, MySQL, MongoDB, and Azure deployment.
