Job Overview
Valtech is seeking a skilled SFCC Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Paris. This role is perfect for someone passionate about development, particularly within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) ecosystem. You will be part of a global team, working closely with colleagues from around the world to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the digital team of a major luxury player, focusing on e-commerce applications with a global reach.
- Engage in continuous improvement, new developments, and maintenance of our solutions.
- Take charge of integrating client projects by developing on e-commerce, CMS, DAM, and Analytics platforms supported by SFCC.
- Perform code analyses and develop new features on platform modules or patches.
- Actively participate in application developments and code reviews.
- Implement SFCC best development practices within the project.
- Analyze and handle incidents, and write technical test notebooks around the integration platform.
- Participate in the integration acceptance test of scalable batches.
Qualifications
- A solid IT background with at least 5 years of experience in Java/JEE development and SFCC.
- Interest in front-end development.
- Knowledge of SFCC: Demandware, SFCC 10.x, etc.
- Experience with automated testing, performance testing, Java application profiling, system tuning, and code optimization.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
