About the Role
Fabriq is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a newly established team focused on continuous improvement. This role is pivotal in shaping the ways of working and interactions within the product department, setting a standard for others to follow.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a single-page application using Vue.js.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs on the backend.
- Transition from Django running on AWS ECS to services written in TypeScript on Cloudflare Workers.
- Manage databases including PostgreSQL and Cloudflare.
- Address scalability and quality improvements of our leading product.
- Work autonomously on complex technical challenges.
Preferred Experience
- Extensive experience as a full-stack software engineer.
- Strong convictions about software development practices.
- Curiosity and a strong desire for continuous learning through reading and attending conferences.
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Proactive in questioning and suggesting improvements.
- Ability to execute tasks rapidly.
- Passion for writing clean, efficient code.
- Experience with Craft is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is required as the team includes English speakers.
- Openness to remote work as most of the product department operates remotely.
