Job Overview
Amazon is seeking a passionate and experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our Core Selling Partner Experience (CSPE) team in Tempe, Arizona. This role involves solving technical challenges on one of the largest Elasticsearch clusters, serving millions of users and innovating daily to change the world.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable and reliable software systems.
- Work on architecture and design of new and existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Contribute to the full software development life cycle including testing and operations.
About the Team
The Selling Partner Simplification team within CSPE focuses on enhancing the Selling Partner experience across desktop and mobile platforms. We aim to consolidate experiences, drive consistency, and develop new functionalities to aid Selling Partners in successful selling on Amazon.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 1+ years of experience in design or architecture of systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Java EE, Lucene-based search, Elasticsearch, or AWS OpenSearch.
- Familiarity with the full software development life cycle.
