Job Overview
Join the AWS Commerce Platform team as a Senior Software Development Engineer. This role involves tackling some of the most challenging scalability, performance, and distributed computing issues in the world. You will be part of a team that processes trillions of events per month using advanced stream processing techniques and manages big data to provide interactive tools for customers to understand their bills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Work with a variety of AWS services to handle large-scale data processing.
- Collaborate with other teams across AWS to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new and existing systems.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the full software development life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
