If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Software Engineer AWS/TypeScript at our Freiburg location, working either full-time or part-time (80-100%).

What You Will Do

• Develop Innovative Solutions: You will be responsible for creating cutting-edge solutions for our business platform in the AWS Cloud.
• Collaborate in a Scrum Team: As part of a Scrum team, you will work closely with the development team to conceptualize, implement, and operate solutions.
• Embrace Modern Technologies: Engage with modern architectural principles and new technologies, helping us implement DevOps, APIs, and microservices approaches.
• Shape New Services: You will have the opportunity to design, implement, and further develop new services from the ground up with your team.

What You Bring

• Experience in Software Development: You have solid experience with cloud technologies and services, ideally with AWS.
• JavaScript Ecosystem Knowledge: You are familiar with the JavaScript ecosystem and have experience with TypeScript.
• DevOps Practices: Test automation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD are second nature to you.
• API Development Experience: You have some experience in API development, ideally with NodeJS.
• On-Site Work Willingness: You are willing to work on-site in Freiburg 2-3 days per week and have excellent German language skills (B2-C1).

The Business Applications Network of Haufe Akademie consists of ten teams developing cloud-based services for the new and further development of the internal business platform. We face the significant challenge of modernizing an IT landscape that has evolved over more than 20 years, replacing two monolithic legacy systems with specialized IT solutions.

Our cross-functional teams of nearly 100 employees manage website/shop, learning environment, learner and organization services, course and content management, LMS, event management, partner and resource management, booking and user management, customer relationship management, and product information management.
