Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS to join our team on a freelance basis. This role involves working with a major client in the German automotive industry, focusing on the automation of cloud infrastructure for both B2C and B2B environments. The position is hybrid, allowing for both remote and on-site work in the Greater Munich Metropolitan Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Automation: Design and implement automated solutions for cloud infrastructure using AWS and other cloud technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
- Agile Environment: Operate within an agile framework, contributing to sprints and iterative development processes.
- Solution-Oriented: Provide innovative solutions to complex cloud infrastructure challenges.
Required Skills and Experience
- Cloud and IaC Technologies: At least 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, GitHub Enterprise, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Development and Containerization: Proficiency in Docker, Java, and Bash.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile environments.
- API Management and Service Integration: Knowledge in API management and service integration/rollout is advantageous.
- Database Management: Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; German is a plus.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the automotive industry is beneficial.
