About the Role
SOUTHWORKS is seeking a talented Software Engineer with a focus on fullstack and cloud technologies. As a Software Engineer at SOUTHWORKS, you will be part of an elite three-person Fireteam, working on high-profile projects for some of the world's biggest brands, exciting scale-ups, and future industry leaders. You will have the opportunity to tackle new challenges, self-direct your work, and receive hands-on training with the latest technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions for high-profile projects.
- Collaborate with other skilled engineers to solve complex technical problems.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Terraform.
- Work with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Engage in native cloud development using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Apply community standards, code guidelines, and design patterns to your work.
Your Profile
- Proficient in at least one programming language.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and microservices is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with at least one front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue).
- Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like React-Native or Flutter is advantageous.
- Experience with native cloud development and managed services.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- 1+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Experience with large-scale cloud production environments.
