About the Role
StubHub is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our Internal Developer Platform team. This role is crucial for designing and developing next-generation technologies and complex features that support our internal development operations. As a Software Engineer, you will tackle significant, ambiguous, and non-trivial challenges, bringing creative technical solutions to life.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automated solutions that align with software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to align Internal Developer Platform processes with software development goals.
- Actively contribute to technical discussions and decision-making processes related to AWS architecture.
- Assist with scaling and configuration of secure and reliable cloud infrastructure.
- Implement monitoring solutions to ensure optimal performance of AWS resources.
- Implement and reinforce security measures specific to AWS environments.
- Conduct post-incident analyses and implement improvements to prevent reoccurrence.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in DevOps development.
- Strong understanding of various AWS Cloud services (EC2, EKS, IAM, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting/programming with Python and/or Powershell.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform.
- Preferred experience with building frontend applications in React and RestAPIs.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
