Position Overview
Join HubSpot as a Staff Software Engineer on the Developer Experience AI Team, where you will play a crucial role in building AI-powered developer tools to enhance the productivity and experience of HubSpot’s developers. This position is focused on backend development and involves tackling complex technical challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of backend systems using technologies like Java, HBase, Vitess, Kafka, GraphQL, and Dropwizard.
- Drive high-value, high-impact cross-team projects to successful completion.
- Provide strategic direction and technical leadership within the team, influencing product vision and direction.
- Mentor and teach other engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Stay hands-on with all technical aspects of projects, leading by example and ensuring high standards of code quality and system reliability.
- Regularly engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and optimal performance of systems.
