Job Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Developer II, L5 for the Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX) team. This role is pivotal in developing software tools and systems that support Amazon's vast developer community. You will be part of the Builder Tools organization, which is responsible for everything from the user interface and external APIs to the backend services and databases.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable and reliable software systems.
- Work closely with other developers to design and implement functional software solutions.
- Engage in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Contribute to the full software development life cycle including design, development, testing, and operations.
- Collaborate with team members to innovate and create efficient software solutions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with back-end web development, databases, and reliability.
- Strong understanding of coding standards and software development best practices.
