Join Our Team as a Software Engineer IoT Service Platform
Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our global development team. This role is based at our production and innovation site in Bensheim, Germany, with the possibility of mobile working by arrangement.
Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will:
- Take backend responsibility for the DS Core Customer Service app (DSCCS) and the DS Core Equipment List.
- Handle DevOps responsibilities for deployment.
- Design, implement, and document software solutions.
- Develop procedures and workflows for service technicians.
- Support the product owner in refining user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
- Develop software in accordance with medical regulations and software development processes.
- Collaborate with other teams to understand technical relationships.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends by reading papers or attending conferences.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Master’s or PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, or related engineering disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience in backend development.
- Experience in design and programming in Go and Flutter, or comparable technologies under Windows and/or Linux.
- Basic knowledge in CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and cloud computing (e.g., GCP, Kubernetes).
- Experience in framework development and software architecture, particularly with DB-based frameworks.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
