Role Overview
Healthy.io is seeking a Senior Back End Engineer to join our innovative team in Boston, MA. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining core back-end features that power our medical device technology, transforming smartphones into clinical-grade devices. Our products, including smartphone-powered urinalysis and digitized wound management, combine computer vision, machine learning, and best-in-class UX design to revolutionize healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Project Ownership: Initiate, drive, and deliver high-quality, well-architected, and tested code.
- Technical Leadership: Lead by example, support colleagues, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Integration and Collaboration: Own integration pipelines, support healthcare partners, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Innovation and Development: Build infrastructure using the latest Cloud technologies to enhance customer experiences.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in web applications development using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Go.
- Database Proficiency: Skilled in structured databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with cloud development, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud providers like Google Cloud or AWS is essential.
- Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar field is advantageous.
