Job Description
As a Software Engineer specializing in React Native SDK at Datadog, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our React Native SDK, which is used globally by our customers. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to build solutions that delight our customers and scale massively. Your users are developers, and your code will need to shine!
Responsibilities
- Build and Maintain SDK: Develop and maintain Datadog's React Native SDK, ensuring it is robust, well-architected, and performs well in complex environments.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with backend, product, and frontend teams to deliver a best-in-class mobile RUM product for React Native applications.
- Improve Engineering Practices: Help improve our engineering tooling and practices to enhance productivity and code quality.
Who You Are
- Experienced in React Native: You have significant experience in React Native and a deep understanding of its ecosystem.
- Code Simplicity and Performance: You value code simplicity and performance, ensuring your code is efficient and easy to maintain.
- SDK Development: You have experience developing commercially shipped SDKs and are comfortable crossing over to native platforms (Android & iOS) when required.
- Documentation Skills: You are comfortable providing accurate documentation for how developers should use your code.
