Datadog is seeking early-career software engineers to join our team and contribute to the development of our high-scale metrics, logs, and application data platform. As a software engineer at Datadog, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects across backend, frontend, infrastructure, libraries, data engineering, and data science.
What You’ll Do:
- Solve scaling bottlenecks in critical services.
- Deploy new features to production and manage rollouts with feature flags.
- Investigate and resolve production issues for services your team owns.
- Optimize services to handle increased traffic at scale.
- Collaborate with your team to plan and prioritize projects.
Who You Are:
- You are pursuing or have a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- You are targeting a 2025 full-time start date.
- You are comfortable coding in one or more languages, with experience in Go or Python being a plus.
- You value code simplicity and performance.
- You have experience as a software engineering intern or in a related role.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex problems.
- You are a self-starter who enjoys collaborating with other engineers.
