Overview
Join Flix, a global travel tech leader, as a Software Engineer in our new team focused on enhancing the station management experience for our customers. This role is based in Warsaw, Poland, and offers a unique opportunity to shape the product's architecture, design, and user experience from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and refine the product vision.
- Drive the development process in an agile environment, working closely with team members in pair and ensemble programming, code reviews, testing, and operations.
- Deliver new versions of the product frequently using continuous integration and delivery.
- Work with cutting-edge technologies and tools including Kotlin (ktor, axon framework, koin, ebean), CI/CD (GitLab), AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, Apache Kafka, HTTP/REST, TypeScript, React, and Redux.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with a JVM language, preferably Kotlin.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Docker and Git.
- Frontend development experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
