Software Engineer - Station Management

Overview

Join Flix, a global travel tech leader, as a Software Engineer in our new team focused on enhancing the station management experience for our customers. This role is based in Warsaw, Poland, and offers a unique opportunity to shape the product's architecture, design, and user experience from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and refine the product vision.
Drive the development process in an agile environment, working closely with team members in pair and ensemble programming, code reviews, testing, and operations.
Deliver new versions of the product frequently using continuous integration and delivery.
Work with cutting-edge technologies and tools including Kotlin (ktor, axon framework, koin, ebean), CI/CD (GitLab), AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, Apache Kafka, HTTP/REST, TypeScript, React, and Redux.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience.
Experience with a JVM language, preferably Kotlin.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with Docker and Git.
Frontend development experience is a plus.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
