Principal Front End Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead and Drive Projects: Take charge of projects that span our tech stack, ensuring high-quality delivery and innovation.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design and product management, to deliver features that require coordination with teams such as UI Platform, Data Pipelines, or App Foundations.
- Contribute to Product Vision: Be a strong contributor to the product vision and drive team planning.
- Mentor and Coach: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Build for Scale: Develop solutions that are scalable and high-performing, ensuring a robust user experience.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 12+ years in product web UI application development, with significant experience in software development.
- Technical Leadership: Demonstrated experience as an architect or tech lead for high-impact customer-facing projects.
- Technologies: Proficient in modern technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, and Node.js. Experience with Canvas, SVG, and other visualization tools is a plus.
- Distributed Systems: Experience in distributed system development is highly desirable.
- Design and Architecture: Deep understanding of modern web applications design architecture, good API design patterns, performance, and scale.
