The Role
As a Senior Product Manager at Airbnb, you will be at the forefront of personalizing the user experience on our platform. This role involves handling complex challenges such as developing privacy-preserving data collection methods and AI/ML systems that generate unique insights for each user. You will define how these insights are utilized across our products and marketing channels, and set policies on user data visibility and control.
Responsibilities
- Product Vision and Strategy: Craft and iterate on the product vision and strategy for your area of focus within the Airbnb product ecosystem.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead and align cross-functional teams including engineering, design, operations, and data science to execute the shared vision.
- Privacy and Policy: Work closely with Privacy, Policy, and Platform teams to address key issues like account security and user privacy.
- Communication and Leadership: Utilize superior communication skills to manage team expectations and articulate product narratives to stakeholders.

- Experienced Leader: With over 10 years in product or platform management, you have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and launching successful products.
- Technically Skilled: Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and data privacy laws.
- Communicator: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas effectively.
