What You'll Do
As a Staff Software Engineer at Model-Prime, you will be at the forefront of developing next-generation hybrid cloud/edge data and compute platforms specifically designed for robotics. This role demands a high level of technical expertise and leadership, as you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and establishing best practices within the software engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable, reliable cloud services that will serve as the backbone of our robotics platform.
- Provide technical leadership to the team, driving the creation of high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in the engineering interview process as the team expands, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent.
- Mentor and grow junior engineers, fostering an environment of learning and development.
- Engage with developers on customer teams and within the broader robotics community to drive product development and adoption.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and general programming skills.
- Strong background in software design and software development.
- Experience with technical leadership and managing distributed systems.
