Overview
Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Robotics Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Costa Mesa, California. This role is pivotal in developing cutting-edge robotic systems for defense applications, leveraging advanced technologies such as AI, computer vision, and sensor fusion. Our Vehicle Autonomy team focuses on creating robust aerial and ground-based systems, from conceptualization to deployment.
What You'll Do
- Write and maintain core libraries for robotics platforms.
- Develop and roll out major features for products like Ghost and Anvil.
- Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams during product development.
- Optimize software for performance and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience in C++ or Rust within a Linux environment.
- Proven skills in data structures, algorithms, and code optimization.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems testing.
- Eligibility for US DoD Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD).
- Experience in motion planning, perception, localization, mapping, and controls.
- Programming skills in Python, Rust, and Go.
- Experience with multi-agent coordination of UAVs and complex robotic systems.
