Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer for a contract position in Rockville, Maryland. This role involves developing and maintaining web pages with functionalities such as video, confirmation, and online forms, tailored to different target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement registration pages using Blackthorn/Event software.
- Create 3-5 pages tailored to different target audiences, ensuring a unique user journey for each.
- Incorporate features such as video, confirmation, and online forms into the web development process.
- Utilize platforms such as Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, and Bug Tracking to manage and track project progress.
- Apply knowledge in Client Side Scripting and Content Management System (CMS) for efficient website operations.
- Conduct A/B testing for website optimization and user experience improvement.
- Work within an Agile Scrum framework to deliver projects on schedule.
- Develop and integrate APIs for enhanced website functionalities.
- Utilize skills in ASP.NET, Drupal, and Drupal Technologies for website development and management.
- Apply knowledge in Ajax for creating dynamic web content.
Requirements
- Proficient in Atlassian Jira and Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Experienced in Backend Development.
- Familiar with Bug Tracking systems.
- Skilled in Client Side Scripting.
- Knowledgeable in Content Management System (CMS) like Drupal and Drupal Technologies.
- Has experience in AB Testing.
- Proficient in Ajax and API Development.
- Has working knowledge in ASP.NET.
- Must have a solid understanding of web technologies, usability, and information architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable with rapid development cycles and tight schedules.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
