Job Overview
Join Mass General Brigham as a Web/API Application Developer, where you will play a crucial role in supporting web application development and maintenance for various health plan initiatives. You will coordinate with business/product owners to define and scope the objectives of business requirements and manage the technical implementation successfully. Your role will ensure the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to integrate applications in a service-based architecture to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify points of contention and develop best practices to support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
- Support the QA team to ensure deliverable quality and efficient completion of sprint commitments.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives for products and services, product roadmap, and tactical discussions.
- Engage in code review and technical whiteboard discussions.
- Balance technical debt with the pace of progress.
- Design and develop web applications using ASP.NET, MVC, HTML5, and Azure, employing Agile or Waterfall delivery models.
- Develop and maintain web applications using .Net, C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SAML 2.0, React JS, Angular, Web API, and .Net Core MicroServices.
- Implement .NET security features such as Authentication, Forms-based Authentication, and Client Certificate Authentication.
- Participate in REST and SOAP API design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Integrate applications with the Microsoft Dynamics365 platform.
- Utilize Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps for code repository and CI/CD pipelines.
- Define and deliver application systems and interfaces, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate alternatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems.
- 5 years of direct experience in web/API applications design and implementation.
- 3 years of experience with the design and development of healthcare technology solutions.
- Technical savvy with advanced full-stack web developer skills and back-/front-end programming.
- Experience in establishing technical business requirements and delivering in the short-term while preparing for the long-term.
- Ability to identify and mitigate development and implementation risks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to track and monitor problem tickets to ensure timely resolution.
