Role Overview
As a Data Scientist in our Control Irrigation team at Source.ag, you will be instrumental in developing fertigation models that autonomously control the water and nutrients for plants in greenhouses. You will engage in rapid iterations from exploratory data analysis to implementing concrete improvements in our live products. Collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams, you will ensure the best solutions are delivered to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine models for autonomous greenhouse systems.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to integrate models into live systems.
- Work with Operations teams and growers to incorporate feedback into model improvements.
- Own modeling initiatives end-to-end, from brainstorming to packaging and monitoring.

Ideal Candidate
- MSc or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
- Experience in systems modeling, control engineering, signal processing, data engineering, machine learning, and mathematical optimization.
- Proficient in Python for large projects.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex analytical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Passionate about plant science and its integration into AI models.
