About the Role
Join Paramount International as an Apprentice Programmer in our dynamic Programming Department. This position offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the television and media industry, with a focus on programming for channels like GAME ONE and J-ONE. The role is based in Paris, Neuilly-Sur-Seine, and includes a hybrid work model, allowing you to split your time between on-site and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Ensure the continuity of channel broadcasts, adhering to all regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Playlist Management: Prepare and manage playlists for daily broadcasts.
- Advertising Integration: Handle the integration and management of advertising screens within the broadcast flow.
- Strategic Participation: Engage in strategic discussions and planning for channel development.
- Reporting: Compile weekly broadcast reports and coordinate with various departments.
- Content Review: Conduct regular reviews of channel programming to ensure quality and compliance.
- Rights Management: Manage the declaration of authors and rights to regulatory bodies like Sacem.
Ideal Candidate
- Educational Background: Knowledge of the television universe, including linear and on-demand services (VOD, SVOD).
- Skills: Proficiency in office and IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office. A good understanding of the English language is preferred.
- Interests: A keen interest in geek culture, video games, and Japanese animation.
- Personal Traits: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
