Role Summary
As a Senior Platform Engineer at PlayPlay, you will be a key member of the Tech team, specifically within the DevSecOps group. Your mission will be to consistently improve the developer experience and enhance the infrastructure to contribute to making PlayPlay the worldwide leader in video creation.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Enhancement: Level-up PlayPlay’s infrastructure, fortifying its resilience and scalability.
- Monitoring Efficiency: Enhance monitoring efficiency and revamp the platform’s foundation through infra-as-code principles.
- Deployment Automation: Streamline deployment processes for automation and shape the DevOps strategy for future readiness.
- Developer Tools: Empower developers with advanced tools, elevating our development environments and continuously improving the CI/CD for efficiency.
- Security Strengthening: Enforce best security practices, proactively monitor threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches, and streamline security procedures through automation.
Ideal Candidate
- Expertise in Cloud Services: Mastery of a Cloud Service (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Architectural Skills: Ability to design and implement scalable, resilient architectures.
- Automation Proficiency: Expertise in advanced automation practices and tooling (GitHub Actions).
- Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Programming Skills: Development skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog.
