What You Will Do
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be immersed in streaming technologies, spreading and cherishing DevOps practices. You will manage tooling and platforms to aid development teams in efficiently building and improving full-stack services for our in-house streaming platforms. Your role will involve:
- Ownership of Projects: You will have significant impact on the toolset as we keep our technologies up-to-date.
- Autonomy in Decision Making: Our teams are autonomous in making architectural choices, technologies, and approaches to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Involvement in All Stages of SDLC: You will be involved in every stage of the software development life cycle.
- Collaboration and Support: Provide support and mentorship to less experienced engineers, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment.
- Global Exposure: Our products are exposed to millions of users worldwide, offering a unique challenge and opportunity.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, CasC, GitOps, configuration management, cloud platforms, version control, automation, monitoring, analytics, containerization, and microservices architecture.
- Experience in web, backend, and mobile software build automation, delivery, and deployment.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment and with typical sysadmin tools.
- Experience in a globally distributed environment is a plus.
