Holland America Line, a leader in the cruise industry, is offering a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Our Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship designed to provide exposure and insight into professional careers within the leisure travel and cruise industry.
Internship Details
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Program Dates: June 9th - August 18th or June 16th - August 25th, 2025
- Location: Remote
- Compensation:
- Undergraduate: $25.00/hr
- Graduate: $35.00/hr
- Ph.D.: $45.00/hr
Responsibilities
As an Artificial Intelligence Intern, you will:
- Work with Prompt Engineering, LLM Orchestration, Knowledge Bases, and other AI technologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally between business units and stakeholders.
- Research and innovate using emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a four-year accredited undergraduate program (rising junior or higher) or in a graduate/Ph.D. program.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook & MS Teams.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Advanced coursework and hands-on experience with at least one modern AI framework (e.g., AWS Bedrock, OpenAI).
- Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development lifecycle.
- Strong coding skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, reusable code.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJs is a plus.
