About The Role
As an Associate Compliance Officer at Swift, you will play a crucial role in providing, developing, and communicating legal and governance support to ensure compliance with corporate governance, oversight requirements, and laws and regulations. Your work will help minimize legal exposure to risks and ensure that Swift operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs: Assist in managing several compliance domains, including whistleblowing, investigations, competition law, codes of conduct, anti-bribery & corruption, and ethical business conduct.
- Manage Compliance Domains: Handle compliance programs, trainings, and reporting. Act as a center of expertise and provide mentorship to colleagues globally.
- Training and Awareness: Maintain awareness trainings, coordinate e-learning modules, and conduct local training sessions.
- Compliance Controls: Maintain a repository of compliance controls and related information such as risks, evidence, issues, owners, and actions.
- Reporting: Collect and maintain compliance-related reports and notifications from business and operational teams. Provide monthly and quarterly compliance reports.
- Project Management: Supervise or manage specific compliance projects and assess compliance of relevant controls in the supply chain.
- Policy Development: Write procedures and policies in your domain of expertise.
Skills & Qualifications
- A Bachelor/University Law degree or equivalent legal experience.
- Proven experience in compliance-related activities and roles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with risk management methodologies and control frameworks.
- Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and demonstrate independence of judgment.
