About The Role
As an Oversight Affairs Officer, you will be responsible for providing, developing, and communicating legal and governance support and services to ensure compliance with corporate governance, oversight requirements, and laws and regulations. Your role is crucial in minimizing legal exposure to risks and ensuring that the company operates within the legal frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent and specialist support to internal and external customers regarding legal and governance services and tools.
- Execute supporting legal and governance activities, focusing on public affairs, compliance, regulatory affairs, board, and oversight matters.
- Coordinate and control the maintenance of legal department documentation.
- Support less experienced colleagues and act as a backup.
- Demonstrate awareness of policies, processes, and procedures, and provide requirements for improvements.
- Develop and maintain contacts with internal and external stakeholders to understand company needs and communicate effectively.
- Deliver and implement projects within defined budgets and challenging deadlines.
- Identify and evaluate risks, propose mitigations and controls, and participate in risk assessments.

Education and Experience
- University degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of related working experience.
