Role Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer at Coolblue, you will be pivotal in setting up a central data infrastructure, integrating data from various sources into a unified platform. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, manage, and monitor data pipelines to ingest and process data into our Data Lakehouse on Azure. You will own the technology of the data platform and manage the work and delivery pace to extend and improve this platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage data pipelines for data ingestion and processing.
- Own the technology stack of the data platform, including Azure Synapse and DevOps.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve our processes and maximize value to the organization.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and applications within the team and across the organization.
Skills and Experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in building data lakehouses in Azure.
- Proficiency in Python, Git, Terraform (IaC), and SQL.
- Excellent verbal and written command of English.
- Strong analytical skills and proactivity in managing projects.
