The Role
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Chiliz, you will be integral to our engineering team, focusing on developing robust backend systems using PHP and Symfony. This role involves building and maintaining scalable microservices, designing RESTful APIs, and ensuring system reliability and performance in a fintech environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy PHP microservices using Symfony and Doctrine.
- Build and maintain server-side REST APIs.
- Ensure the scalability and performance of backend systems.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities.
Technical Stack:
- PHP 8, Symfony 6.3
- SQL databases (PostgreSQL), Clickhouse
- Docker, Kubernetes for container management
- GitLab for continuous integration and version control
- Linux operating system
Who You Are
Ideal candidates are self-driven, proactive, and have a keen interest in technology and software development. You should have a strong background in backend development, particularly with PHP and Symfony frameworks, and be comfortable working in an agile environment.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in backend development with PHP and Symfony.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
