Backend Developer (Java, Spring) - B2B Contract
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team on a B2B contract basis. You will be responsible for developing backend applications for platforms used by Nationale-Nederlanden. This role involves designing new solutions within a microservices architecture, optimizing code for security and performance, and writing unit and integration tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend applications for NN platforms.
- Design new solutions to expand existing platforms using microservices architecture.
- Build solutions based on market development practices.
- Optimize code with a focus on security and performance.
- Write unit and integration tests.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Java 11.
- 3-4 years of experience as a Java Backend Developer.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and REST API.
- Commercial experience in building applications in a microservices architecture.
- Developer-level knowledge of MS SQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Experience with Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Gitlab, Artifactory, and Maven.
- Understanding of design patterns, modern application architecture styles, and clean code practices.
