About the Role
As a Software Development Leader at Nordea, you will be at the forefront of our Open Banking API offerings, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of digital banking in the Nordic region. This position combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on software development, allowing you to influence both the strategic direction and the technical execution of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead a team of software developers, including internal employees and external consultants. Manage performance reviews, career discussions, and pay reviews.
- Software Development: Utilize your expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and Microservices to develop high-quality banking solutions. Work closely with the service domain architect on technology and architecture artifacts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the IT domain to ensure alignment and support for projects.
- Innovation and Problem Solving: Drive new initiatives and create business opportunities by leveraging technology to solve complex problems and deliver value to customers.
Who You Are
You are a leader passionate about technology and innovation, with a positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills. You have experience in high-volume transaction environments and are proficient in technologies like Java Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, and database management systems like DB2 and Oracle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development and team leadership.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
