Job Description
Join an award-winning startup in the energy management sector as a Backend Developer. We are seeking a talented individual with expert-level knowledge of AWS serverless technologies to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based backend solutions. This role is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects in the green energy space.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend solutions using AWS serverless technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Manage and maintain databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development.
- Strong experience with AWS serverless technologies.
- Knowledge of databases, particularly MongoDB.
- Experience with Node.js and React.js.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML5 and CSS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the energy management or renewable energy sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
