What Will You Be Doing?

As a Senior Back-end Developer, you will take a key role in a growing team of over 10 talented developers, collaborating closely with front-end developers, data scientists, and UX designers to create robust and scalable solutions. You’ll be driving our back-end development with a focus on TypeScript, REST APIs, and utilizing Gitlab CI/CD, Kubernetes, and open-source technologies to deliver high-quality services to our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our back-end services using TypeScript and REST APIs.
• Work in close collaboration with the front-end, UX, and data science teams to ensure seamless integration of the user experience.
• Optimize and scale our cloud-based infrastructure to support the growing demands of our platform.
• Lead initiatives around test automation, clean code, and best practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code.
• Continuously improve our back-end architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.

What Do You Bring?

• 6+ years of experience in back-end development, with a strong command of TypeScript and cloud-based architectures.
• A proven track record of working in multidisciplinary teams of at least 8 developers.
• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD, Kubernetes, and open-source technologies.
• Expertise in test automation, quality code practices, and a deep understanding of Clean Code principles.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
• You live in or are willing to relocate to the Brainport region (Eindhoven area, The Netherlands).
