Join Amdocs, a leading software and services provider, as a BackEnd Engineer specializing in TypeScript and Node.js. This role is based in Limassol, Cyprus, at our dedicated Amdocs site. You will be part of a dynamic team that thrives on innovation and the challenge of designing and developing cutting-edge software applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain software code according to functional, non-functional, and technical design specifications.
- Follow Amdocs software engineering standards and applicable software development methodology to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable.
- Demonstrate software products to stakeholders and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.
- Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, providing fixes and workarounds, and reviewing changes for operability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals and participate in peer code reviews, adding value through comments and suggestions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in the design and development of highly scalable applications.
- Experience with JavaScript (TypeScript preferred) and Node.js frameworks (Nest.js preferred).
- Good understanding of non-relational database principles and experience with any NoSQL DB (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, CouchDB).
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Good understanding of REST API principles.
