Our Outbound & Flow team is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to lead a team of business intelligence engineers to deliver insights and analysis across our product portfolio. You will own metrics, dashboarding and measurement across platforms and products which help Fulfillment Centers (FCs i.e. Amazon Warehouses) around the world to operate efficiently by automating the flow of customer orders through the FC. These platforms/products optimize the various processes used to fulfill customer orders including picking, packing, shipping and other processes. Your work will directly influence Amazon business and customer promise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of Business Intelligence Engineers and own organization wide analytical solutions including metrics, attributions etc.
- Work with in-house scientists, product management, engineering, and business teams to identify new BI capabilities and projects.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and delivery of BI solutions for complex and ambiguous problems.
- Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
- Use data mining, model building, and other analytical techniques to develop and maintain customer segmentation and predictive models to drive the business.
- Identify opportunities and key criteria to drive analytical reporting and business strategy.
- Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders that will help shape effective metric development and reporting.
- Simplify and automate reporting, audits, and other data-driven activities.
- Develop and drive best practices in data integrity, consistency, analysis, validations, and documentation.
- Learn new technology and techniques to meaningfully support product and process innovation.

About The Team
Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) powers Amazon’s global fulfillment network. Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
