About The Role

We are looking for an Engineering Team Lead for a multidisciplinary Tech team (Data Engineers, Backend Engineers and Front-end Engineers). You will be responsible for using technical experience to work across multiple systems, as well as great communication skills. You will represent your own team externally, coordinating with other teams and stakeholders. Collaborating closely with the product manager, you will ensure the product team is focused and delivering incremental value, by managing priorities and controlling WIP. Managing engineers across a team, guiding and supporting their growth, and ensuring the right technical skills and capacity in the team to tackle any challenges the business is solving.

What You’ll Need

Exceptional technical abilities and experience with the architectural design of large-scale applications and microservice approaches. Familiar with Clean Code, SOLID, and DRY principles. Experience with the complexities and nuances of distributed systems. Experienced professional with a track record delivering complex projects in fast-changing companies. We’re looking for someone with 5+ years of engineering work experience and 2+ years of experience managing a team. Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, negotiation skills impact and influence. Open to try new technologies and programming languages. Self-starter, able to take ownership and initiative, with high energy and stamina. Decisive and action-oriented, able to make rapid decisions even when they are short of information. Highly motivated, independent and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact. Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level-proficient user).
